Materials:
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
12-13 thin green peppers
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour or cornstarch
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
A pinch of black pepper
Grated kashar cheese (for serving)
1 heaping teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Prepare the Peppers: First, remove the stems from the green peppers and chop them into even pieces. If your peppers have a lot of seeds, you can remove them at this stage.
Sauté the Peppers: Heat the vegetable oil in a suitable pan. Add the chopped peppers to the pan and sauté over medium heat until they are slightly tender-crisp.
Add Flour: Sprinkle the flour over the peppers and stir for a couple of minutes to cook the flour.
Add Milk and Seasoning: Next, pour in the milk and add the salt. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens.
Prepare the Topping: In a separate small pan, melt the butter for the topping. Once melted, add the red pepper flakes and stir to combine.
Serve: Drizzle the hot topping over the milky pepper mixture. Remove from heat and serve.
